Coffee, Cake and a Good Cause: Our Macmillan Coffee Morning

On 24 September 2026, our team hosted a Macmillan Coffee Morning, selling coffee, homemade cakes and sweet treats to raise money for people living with cancer.

The first Coffee Morning, in 1990, was a small event with a simple idea: guests met for coffee and donated what their drink would have cost to Macmillan. It worked so well that the next year it went national. Today thousands of Coffee Mornings take place across the UK, from small get-togethers at home to big workplace events.

Every penny raised helps Macmillan support the almost 3.5 million people in the UK living with cancer, from diagnosis, through treatment and beyond.
